Stake Licence: Legal Framework and Regulatory Compliance

Stake operates under a licence issued by the Government of Curaçao, one of the most established online gambling regulatory authorities internationally. The licence was granted to Medium Rare N.V. Waiver of Brand Ownership and Operator Liability

Stake is not the owner or controlling entity of all companies that hold licences issued by the Curaçao Gaming Control Board, and it does not manage those companies on behalf of any licensing authority.

The brand maintains no financial, managerial, or operational interest in separately licensed third-party companies operating under the same regulatory framework. Accordingly, the brand holds no capacity to influence the operational or management decisions of those companies. No responsibility is accepted for actions taken by, or regulatory violations attributable to, such independently licensed entities. Any legal claims, complaints, or regulatory inquiries relating to those companies must be directed to the relevant licensed operator or the appropriate regulatory authority.

Licence Verification System

A licence verification system is available, enabling users to confirm the current status and authenticity of the gaming licence issued to Stake at any time.

This tool functions as a digital status-check mechanism, providing access to up-to-date licence information directly sourced from the relevant regulatory authority. All texts, images, visual elements, and supporting materials presented within the verification system are the exclusive intellectual property of the issuing regulator and are protected under applicable copyright laws. Commercial use, reproduction, or distribution of these materials by any third party is strictly prohibited. Improper or unauthorised use of the verification system or its contents may result in regulatory penalties and legal liability under applicable law.

Trademark Rights and Brand Identity Protection

All trademarks, logos, service marks, and commercial identifiers displayed on the Stake website and associated applications are protected assets held by the authorised rights holder, which is either the licence holder or the relevant regulatory authority.

Ownership of these protected elements extends beyond formally registered trademarks and domain names to encompass all brand-style elements, visual identity components, and distinctive commercial indicators associated with the platform. Any unauthorised reproduction, imitation, or use of these elements by third parties is strictly prohibited under applicable intellectual property law. Violations may result in civil and criminal liability in accordance with the governing legal framework of the relevant jurisdiction.
